A lot has happened since I posted my last update. We went to Union South Carolina and competed in the local competition there. The course was a tough course but we were able to improve our relay time to 1:29. We were very proud of everyone's performance. I would like to thank everyone involved in the Union FD for putting on the event and making every effort to make it possible for us to participate.
We have started to change our work outs to try to improve as much as possible before we go to Atlanta on October 17-19 2008. We have begun training with Hosea Sandstrom of Lowcountry Crossfit. Hosea came out to our training tower and watched our work out and has given us advice on how to improve our work. We have started going to Lowcountry Crossfit in Mt. Pleasant and working out there. Crossfit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity.
